2020年12月3日「artKYOTO 2020～History in Action Festival～」のプログラムの一つとして二条城にてお披露目された、現代大衆演劇の第一人者、早乙女太一と和楽器ユニット Rin’による舞踊劇。
永禄8年、二条御所で三好義継により戦国剣豪将軍としても名高い室町第13代将軍 足利義輝が最期を迎えました。また、寛永3年、徳川秀忠と、家光の招きにより、後水尾天皇と中宮和子の二条城への行幸が実現。この二つのエピソードをもとに、当時の最高峰の技術で装飾された唐門（重要文化財）および二の丸御殿（国宝）を舞台とし、時代考証を経て制作し た楽曲や衣装を用いた舞踊劇を披露致しました。
A live performance drama by Taichi Saotome, a leading person in the contemporary popular drama, and Wagakki Unit Rin’.
This live performance was held on December 3, 2020 “artKYOTO 2020 ~ History in Action Festival ~” at Nijo Castle as part of the program.
In 1565, at Nijo Gosho, Muromachi 13th Shogun Yoshiteru Ashikaga, who was also famous as a great Sengoku swordsman, was killed by Yoshitsugu Miyoshi’s army.
In 1626, Hidetada Tokugawa and Iemitsu Tokugawa invited the Emperor Gomizunoo and the Chugu (the second consort of an emperor) Masako to Nijo-jo Castle. Based on these two episodes, they performed a dance drama using the music and costumes based on a historical background, set in Karamon (Important Cultural Property) and Ninomaru Palace (National Treasure), which were decorated with the highest techniques of the time.

This group very linked to traditional music and ancient history of Japan deserves greater recognition with a registration on their official website.Important the presence of Saotome Taichi and the small representation of his theater group, as small was the space available, however nothing has been taken away from the value of the exhibition as a whole which is to be promoted with full marks. Rin 'will continue to follow you because I consider the work you do important in keeping alive the art and history of your wonderful and unique Japan.
