I grew up knowing nothing about Zatoichi. The people in Hollywood refused to have nothing to do about this show. It boiled down to Greed and didn't what to buy the rights to this show from Japan. It's really sad that they refused to offer any money for a lot of great television shows from around the world. We even had satellite TV and still couldn't pick up any shows. It's time for Hollywood to to stop making the same crap over and over. I tell all my friends to give up watching all this garbage on Television now a days. The only thing any of my friends and I watch is local news.
