こんな恋のはなし (A Story of Love) is a 1997 Japanese drama series starring 真田広之さん。The show is a great favorite of mine, even though the visual quality of the version I have is not perfect. The cast is fabulous, and l adore how Mr. Sanada’s character grows and changes over the course of the show. I intended to do more than one episode, but there are just so many great parts to this first show that I had to include them all. I hope you will enjoy. Thank you so much for watching. "A Story of Love" was the formal introduction for me to the very gifted and handsome Mr. Hiroyuki Sanada when I watched it in our local channel with English subtitles in or about 1998. I knew who Mr. Sanada was but did not care for him too much prior to this drama. After the drama, I rented all Mr. Sanada's movies I could get my hands on from the video shop and made the trek to Japan to visit all the locations from his movies; I even stayed in the Century Hyatt where he had a lunch meeting with his future father-in -law! Well, his movies are not easy to understand, let alone the language barrier, I finally put him in the back burner and forgot about him. I chanced upon "A story of Love" on YouTube few months ago, I am a fan again! With helps from the internet, You Tube, and Google Translate, I have a profound respect for his acting skills and appreciate his movies much more now than before. Please keep them coming! Thank you.
