Hi 🙂 Everyone, thank you IMP. Let me share with you two of my favorite Bible verses: Jesus said, "I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will have a life filled with light, John 8:12. And Paul said, "It is the light that brings a rich harvest of every kind of goodness, righteousness, and truth." Ephesians 5:9.
Why do many people feel empty? They try in vain to fill their hearts with everything except God. But unless your heart and my heart are filled with God's Spirit, something is missing, because the real you and the real me are 'spirit' beings.
We were made in the image of God, Genesis 1:27, and God is Spirit, John 4:24. So we are 'spirit' beings who can only be satisfied by God's Spirit. Someone said, "You were made by God and for God and until you understand that, life will never make sense."
Jesus said to Thomas, "You believe because you've seen me. Happy are those who haven't seen me but believe.” John 20:29. Peter said, "You love Jesus, although you have not seen him, and you believe in him, although you do not now see him. So you rejoice with a great and glorious joy which words cannot express." 1 Peter 1:8.
Jesus said, "When an evil spirit comes out of a person, it goes through dry places looking for a place to rest. But it doesn’t find any. Then it says, ‘I’ll go back to the home I left.’ When it arrives, it finds the house unoccupied, swept clean, and in order. Then it goes and brings along seven other spirits more evil than itself. They enter and take up permanent residence there. In the end the condition of that person is worse than it was before. That is what will happen to the evil people of this day.” Matthew 12:43-45.
Paul asked, "Don't you know that you are God's temple and that God's Spirit lives in you? 1 Corinthians 3:16. The person who unites himself with Jesus becomes one spirit with him." 1 Corinthians 6:17.
Do you know the Good News of how you can go to heaven? Believe now and say, "I have decided to follow Jesus, because he is the ONLY way to heaven, John 14:6. I turn away from all my sins, because Jesus said, 'From now on don't sin, John 8:11, a sinner REPENTS and becomes SAVED.' Luke 15:10. So be it in Jesus' name, Hallelujah!"
