  1. The intimate scenes of Ichi with the baby and woman are incredibly touching. Never quite seen anything like it. Masterful acting by Katsu.

  2. Its A Great Series of Movie…..I Love Zatoichi….I Love Master Shi Ntaro Katsu….Love from – KOLKATA – INDIA.

  3. 37:29 Zatoichi watching the woman and baby sleep, he was wondering if is what is like to have a family? I think he enjoyed the idea of it. It might given him some kind of peace!! It came to very sad ending!!😢. Few are extremely sad, he hates himself what he has become and what he did, he feels undeserving of a good life. Zatoichi is wonderful human being and extremely tragic.

  4. You'd think zato would try to stay out of trouble while transporting a BABY! THINK AGAIN

  5. I really love this series. This episode was particularly sad for many reasons.

  6. When it come to little children, one must always do what’s best for the child, regardless of how one feels, especially when one has a disability….

  7. Fan i iz of the Z man, help me out identifying red flowers in scene when Z man gives palanquin to woman & child, what name of red flowers?

  8. One of the things that set Ichi/Katsu apart from so many formulaic period pieces of the time, was the magnificent expressions of his face. While so many samurai actors of the time relied on the eyes to express more than the face…Shintaro Katsu delivered the opposite, a face that let emotions flow across it like water. While I love all the Zatoichi flims, mostly I love that they delivered a perfect anti-hero for their time…a flawed man, a drinker and gambler who, for all his faults, meant no harm and lifted up others as much as he could…and who held the world of the powerful, criminal and legitimate alike, to account for their intentional cruelties.

  9. Hizuru Takachiho(34), who plays the role of Okou, is married to Koichi Ose, who played Shintaro in "The Samurai". After marriage, the two retired from acting. I am happy to see her in your videos. thank you very much.

  10. Ever since I discovered ZATOICHI, I've loved the character, The premise is 'GOOD OVER EVIL" AND HONESTY always. It is missing in today's world. Politicians could learn from ZATOICHI.

  11. Its been day 3 i marathon watching all this Ichi’s video in this Atomic chanel!! Thank you bro? Greeting from Indonesia!!
