Hard to understand why Tennis isn’t bigger in the States. The current generation of American players are outstanding
Nishikori played against Shang 14 hours before playing Fritz. Didn’t even have enough time to rest and recover. This was not a fair fight
Kei has such an amazing shot making talent. Compared to new Gens except for Carloz, it's much more worth watching Kei's wonderful shot producing.

Fritz has such a boring style of tennis. Stay back and hit winners. It's like Djokovic, but without the dynamic movement, finesse and net play.
Clearly not 100% and reach the quarter finals,Nishikori have Masters 1000 level of tennis on him,hope he can fully recover soon,we all miss him.

Thiem is struggling to get past 1st rounds 1 year and a half after coming back, while 33 years old Nishikori is already putting up a good fight againt a top 10 player in the QF of his first atp tournament since indian wells 2021. Impressive, much impressive.

Hard to be sure from just these highlights, but Nishikori looked like he was moving a bit gingerly. Not sure if it was his hip or just fatigue, but hope he can stay healthy and keep it up!
2 days before the matches the scores were published by awakenbeerus. He is from the future i keep telling you.
Nishikori's tennis skills look sharper than ever. I just hope the legs catch up so he can truly compete again.
Hopefully Fritz can get his confidence back from this tournament.
If Kei was 100% he probably would have had a better chance; or win the match.
