【ストーリー / Story】
昭和18年、ソ連と満州の国境近くにある孫呉の丘に駐屯する関東軍の兵舎に、やくざの用心棒だった大宮貴三郎が入隊してきた。貴三郎の指導係には有田三年兵が任命される。傲慢な貴三郎は上等兵たちの反感を買い、砲兵隊の黒金伍長に痛めつけられてしまうが、現れた有田に助けられ、彼を慕うようになった。収まりの付かない黒金は合同大演習の夜に貴三郎を襲撃、歩兵隊と砲兵隊を巻き込む大喧嘩に発展してしまう。
In 1943, Kisaburo Omiya, a yakuza bouncer, enlisted in the Kwantung Army barracks stationed on Sun Wu Hill near the border between the Soviet Union and Manchuria. A three-year soldier named Arita is appointed as Kisaburo’s instructor. The arrogant Kisaburo antagonizes the privates and is beaten up by Corporal Kurogane of the artillery, but Arita shows up and saves him, and Kisaburo comes to adore him. Kurogane, unable to settle his differences, attacks Kisaburo on the night of a joint training exercise, and a huge fight breaks out involving the infantry and artillery.
