Snow Man、メンバー増員の経緯を初告白「最終的に十何人になる予定だった」 2019年にラウール・目黒蓮・向井康二が加入
嵐の二宮和也とSnow Manが出演する、TBS系バラエティー『それSnow Manにやらせて下さいSP』（後8：30）が5日に放送された。二宮とSnow Man（ラウールは別の仕事のために不在）がスタッフなしの居酒屋で本音トークをする企画で、Snow Manが現在の9人体制となった経緯を明かした。
嵐のデビュー経緯などを語るなかで、渡辺翔太は「増員（してデビュー）って前例がなかった。最初は3人だけじゃななかった」と2019年に増員となったラウール、向井康二、目黒蓮以外にも候補がいたことを告白。
2012年に結成されたSnow Manは当時、深澤辰哉、佐久間大介、阿部亮平、岩本照、宮舘涼太、渡辺の6人だったが、デビューの話がないまま月日が経過。そこでターニングポイントとなったのがメンバー3人の増員だった。2020年には9人でCDデビューを果たした。
