俳優の大野拓朗さんが12月23日、東京都内で行われた主演ドラマ「猫忍」試写会イベントに渡辺武監督と登場した。大野さんは役衣装の忍者姿で登場し、渡辺監督と撮影苦労話などを披露した。
ドラマ版「猫忍」は2017年1月4日からテレビ神奈川などで放送。劇場版は5月7日に公開。
