　「風に立つライオン」は長崎の大学病院からアフリカ・ケニアの熱帯医学研究所に派遣された医師・島田航一郎（大沢さん）が、心に傷を負った元少年兵と出会ったことで医師としての生き方を見つめ直す……というストーリー。石原さとみさん、真木よう子さん、萩原聖人さん、鈴木亮平さんなども出演している。
